Guardiola As Bayern's Coach
Coach Guardiola for Bayern Munich |
After the trashing of Barcelona, Pep Guardiola is convinced that players have more importance than the coach and will have to adapt to Bayern Munich.
As the former coach of Barcelona he still has no fear after being exposed as the coach of Bayern Munich, he says that he is ready to face the challenge of leading a squad that has played an outstanding season under Jupp Heynckes. They won the domestic league and cup double and even the champions league title.
He says that he can appear the comparison and that he believes that he is under pressure of course but he still accept the challenges without fear because that is why he is a coach.
It has become a huge question on how he would coach the Munich whether he would make them play Barcelona's gameplay or not but he said that it depends on the players at his own availability. Guardiola won 14 trophies in four years at Barcelona, he left for a year after leaving Barcelona in 2012 and went to New York.
He vows to try and reach Jupp Heynckes level and admits that he is under pressure to replicate Jupp Heynckes' success and that he has a big job to live up to Bayern Munich. He also said that he hopes to see Jupp shortly because his opinion mean a lot to him and that he feels honoured to be his successor because of his accomplishments.
Guardiola believes that much transfers are not needed but if they can win four titles, then they are good to go... He also said his first reason of accepting Bayern's offer was it's players and history. "It is better to be a coach of a good club than the other way round and being a Bayern's coach gives me pressure", he said.
