Sanogo, Another Wenger's Masterstroke?

When Arsene Wenger signed this young French player from Auxerre on a free transfer last summer, some saw his signing as another Wenger masterstroke while the other majority saw his signing as a move in the wrong direction when it was obvious that Arsenal needed a 'top top' striker to take them to the next level having not adequately replaced Van Persie after his move to Manchester United the previous season. Yaya Sa-goal made his competitive debut for Arsenal on August 24 before having a long injury lay off when on international duty with France. He made is first start for Arsenal in the FA cup against Liverpool in which he had a very good game but struggled in front of goal and was selected to start against Bayern Munich in the Champions league four days later due to his convincing display against the Reds and yet, still struggled in front of goal. Despite having convinced some fans to be a better option to Giroud, he has struggled in front of goal and at 6ft 4inch, he possess aerial threat and his positioning in and around the penalty box has been satisfactory to say the least. He just needs confidence and finishing touches to his raw talent to make him adapt his game and hit the ground running at Arsenal.
