My European Player of the Year

Well, I'm pretty sure you guys have seen the list for the 10 European players of the year. Looking at the list, I'd expect Uefa to  include at least two German players in the best 3 which is going to be released this August.

Personally, I feel the European player of the year should go to Arjen Robben. I mean, just look at his commitment last season and you'd know that this guy reevaluated himself...


Robben for the past 2 seasons or so is a player that has been heavily criticized by the fans and press for his stingy style of play, unseriousness, and wastefulness.

Let's not forget the crucial chance he missed at the World Cup and the penalty he missed against Chelsea in the 2011/2012 Champions League final.

Even after all that, he still kept his cool and did not let those things mess with his head. Look at the results today. A treble winner. to think that a man who is known for his consistent injury problems could be highly influential for the Bayerns last season is enough reason why I think they should give it to him. gone were the days when awards were judged on your performance for the team before individual performances and not just the number of goals you score. But hey! I'm not saying that doesn't count too but I'm saying Robben should be allowed to have this. He was top-notch last season.

Really hope he gets it.
