United Players - This is where we FIGHT, This is where we DIE. Ahuuuuuuu !!!!!!

"Bayern will destroy them" "Sporadic Flogging" "How will united win this" "Buttner will beg for mercy" lol... Like everybody wrote united off. Yup. Even you reading this. You did! 

United is not at their strongest. This season is testimony to that. And now they go up against what is - by a mile - the strongest team in the World at the moment. The same team that slayed Barcelona 7-0 in last years CL. The same team that's won the Bundesliga even more dominantly than last year.  

The same team that demolished Arsenal, and only "allowed" 1-1 in Germany because they took the foot off the gas pedal after also going in front in that game. The same team that rolled over City at Etihad and only let them into the game in Germany because they were ahead by 2 after 12 minutes.

The same team that came with 7 straight AWAY WINS in Germany and abroad to theatre of dreams and probably had the motive of turning it to theatre of nightmares for the red devils but the united players said "NO!" Enough is enough. We have to make the fans happy. We gotta turn up. 

So how were they gonna go about this? Dominate Bayern in terms of possession?

Beat them at their own game? Naah! They played the game perfectly. Bayern is a stronger side than them, that's no secret. Defensively, they were extremely well prepared and performed well. They were able to keep them at bay in the first half, wore them down a little bit and got them frustrated. 

First half was almost a power play by Bayern, but the air sure went out of the balloon in the second. They went for an Ali Rope-a-dope on them, and it worked. That was especially demonstrated by what happened after they got 1-1. It wasn't an all out attack run by Bayern in the last 20 minutes. 

They were spent, and it was an even game at that point. United did what Arsenal and Barcelona couldn't - Made sure that a tie against Bayern wasn't already over in the first leg. And then people are giving united a hard time for not dominating Bayern because it's at OT?

Come on... everyone expected United to get a proper beating 0-4 or worse, and instead, they put in a real performance against a stronger side and got a decent result. Recognize!
