Its Part Of The Game, DEAL WITH IT !!!!!!!

Diving !! Diving !! Diving !! A very big issue in football. I think a colleague of mine has even discussed something of this nature on this blog before but hey.... Y'all know mine is always special ;)

Alright let's get to business.

Did you know that a player can be sent off for simply attempting to tackle a player in a dangerous way, even if they don't make contact? 

There are many factors that affect the decisions referees make, and anyone that has actually played football will know that there are players out there that can commit fouls without even touching you.

I'm not sure why I am bothering making this post because unfortunately a lot of people are going to look at who I support and assume I'm just jumping to the defence of Suarez, but no lads. 

I'm not even a Liverpool fan. 

What Suarez did was infact a dive, I won't argue that. Should it have been a penalty? I say it's 50/50. Suarez had Guzan beat, he gets no where near the ball but close enough to Suarez to slow him down. 

Should that be a penalty?

Honestly, I don't know. And neither do you. And that is why we have referees to make these decisions for us. I refuse to condemn players for diving unless it is so completely obvious and pre meditated that it can't be argued, because let's face it guys, it's a part of the game. You can say it's not but just suck it up and accept that diving is in our game and it's going no where. 

On Baines, dive? Yes, blatant, I'm sure he thought he was going to get caught by the defender but he hasn't and that's that. Instead of ridiculing him for being a diver and dwelling on the incident why don't y'all just get on with it?

Because like it or not sooner or later a player from your team is going to dive and this whole thing is going to happen again. Football has changed guys, I know there is an older generation that is used to hard, physical football, and I love that, I love watching it, I love playing it. I mean..

They don't call me "Obstacle" for nothing. 

Best 2 in Nigeria lol (I'm sorry) But times have changed, and we need to adjust our view on the game accordingly, or we're all going to continue to get frustrated at things we just should not be surprised about.
