Moyes! Moyes !! Moyes!!!

Must admit I was never a big fan of Moyes although you had to respect the job he did at Everton with little funds. It was obviously a massive job to fill the boots of SAF but personally I think he did himself no favours at all by recruiting his back room staff who had won nothing and were not experienced in the expectations of Manchester United(although it showed loyalty).

United's staff knew the players and had the mentality of the club (winning) whilst replacing them with a staff whose mentality was not the same. Add to that the problem of aging key players and injuries and it was a recipe for trouble. Moyes tactical approach is also being questioned and after so many years of playing in a certain manner to change into the way that Manchester United expect is proving more difficult than expected.....

Just imagine what Ferguson would have done to those lads after yesterday's defeat. I understand he's trying to be careful and all but he really needs to reset his mindset if he wants to take manchester united to the promise land. All that being said, I am sure that SAF gave a lot of thought to his replacement and if he chose Moyes then I think that he should be given some time to adapt and prove his worth. It is a season of transition - some go more smoothly than others - but SAF went 3 years or so before winning anything so I do not see the Manchester United board panicking or looking to make changes just yet..
