Inconsistent FA

English Football loving fans across the world have been left aggrieved (Except Chelsea fans) by the decision of the English FA not to take further actions on Fernando Torres' scratch to the face of Jan Vertonghen. They  have been left thinking the situation could have been different if it had involved a certain player, Suarez.

Suarez is that player people love and hate. His world class ability is obvious for everyone to see which is his good part while his temper laso forms the bad part of him.

He has been often used as the scape goat in the League. The FA have been unjust with the treatment of his disciplinary cases. For example receiving an 8 match ban for racial abuse while former English captain John Terry received  a 4 match ban for the same offence.

The top of them all being his 10 match ban for biting Chelsea player, Ivanovic (further actions were taken because the referee didn't deal with the incident on the field). The same offence England striker jermaine Defoe received an on-field booking for (I just wonder if he would have received a 10 match ban like Suarez had the referee not dealt with it).

Other examples are Ben Thatcher receiving an 8 match ban in 2006 for a forearm to Pedro Mendes. Though it was dealt with by the referee but further actions were still taken after the FA described the incident as "serious foul play" which left him unconscious. David Prutton's 10 game suspension for shoving a match official. You can't just help but think what it would have been had it been Suarez after previous FA handling of his disciplinary cases.

Torres should have also been punished by the FA cos there is no difference in biting and scratching and you don't raise your hands in football especially to your opponents face.

This would be seen as an inconsistency from the FA's side and they have to correct that by being fair just in their punishment to all players, be it an English or foreign player, a player from a top or small club.
