Can Gus Poyet Make A Difference ??

Not really sure Gus Poyet is the right man to take Sunderland forward. They're a club struggling with confidence and squad cohesion, and I don't even understand the logic of appointing a manager with no top-level experience to get them out of the mess Di Canio left them in. 

He had some good times at Brighton, but does that qualify him to take over a big club like Sunderland, who are dead last in arguably the best league in the world? Surely there were other, more qualified candidates who would have taken the job.

Maybe Sunderland or Brighton fans know more than I do, but I don't really see the logic in replacing one manager with little top-level experience with another, when the team are in as big a mess as Sunderland find themselves in.
