Bundesliga Round 9 Preview
The first match this weekend comes on Friday which sees
Hoffenheim play against 3rd placed Bayern Leverkusen. Leverkusen
could go top with a win against Hoffenheim, though that might last only until
Bayern and Dortmund play the next day.
Dortmund get to play Hannover the next day and they would
hope to continue their good form at home which has seen them not drop any point
at home and they would hope to bounce back after their last defeat which also
saw Mats Hummels sent off.
Bayern Munchen know they could drop to as low as 3rd
place on the table if they slip up against Mainz who have only gotten 1 point
from their last 5 matches and they could welcome summer signing Mario Gotze
back to the starting line up.
Bottom of team Eintracht Braunschweig lock horns with 8th placed
Schalke. Frankfurt face Nurnberg, one of 2 teams yet to record a win this
season and Werder Bremen face Freiburg. Hertha BSC play against Borussia
Monchengladbach later in the evening. Monchengladbach are yet to record a win
on their travels this season.
On Sunday, Hamburger face 7th placed Stuttgart
who are yet to lose in their last 5 matches and Augsburg play Wolfburg in the
last match of the weekend.
