Was He a Summer Miss?

Since the departure of Robin van Persie from Arsenal, Arsenal have looked to replace him and have been after a lot of strikers, one which is going to face them tonight in the champions league; Higuain.

Wenger agreed that the club tried to sign the Argentine but they failed to meet up with the asking price.

One player who would be hoping to impress the Emirates faithful especially in tonight’s match between Arsenal & Napoli is Giroud. He would try to make a statement that he is as good if not better than Higuain.

Giroud has been in good form for Arsenal scoring four goals in 6 league matches lifting Arsenal to the top of EPL and Higuain 4 goals in all competitions, helping his team to second position on the Serie A table and a win against last year’s finalist Borussia Dortmund in the UCL.

With both strikers proving to be prolific in front of goal this season, they would be the focus of attention in tonight’s game with Giroud wanting to prove he can be depended on for the Gunners goal and Higuain wanting to prove they made a mistake in not signing him.
