Juicy Competition

Out of the top 5 European leagues, the Italian Serie A remains the only league to have more than two teams (Rome, Napoli, Juventus & Internazionale) unbeaten at this stage of the competition with Roma particularly impressing with 6 wins in 6 and conceding only 1 goal (Best defence).

After keeping the spine of the team in De Rossi and offering veteran captain Francesco Totti a new contract, they were able to do good business during the transfer window bringing in Gervinho, Ljajic, Stootman and co. with them bedding in quickly, Roma are outsiders for the league this season after a flying start.

But they face competition from Napoli, a new look Inter side under the tutelage of Mazzari and reigning champions Juventus and if there is anything they have got right is letting other teams know that they are no pushovers this season and are in for the title.
