A Case For Chicharito
After the arrival of Robin Van Persie, Chicharito went down the pecking order at Manchester United being the fourth choice striker behind RVP, Rooney and Welbeck.
With RVP injured, Chicharito is the only other "9" at Man Utd with that clinicality in front of goal (Rooney has developed into a "10") and should start ahead of Welbeck whose workaholic attitude could be useful on the wings to attack and track back when necessary.
Chicharito is a poacher, someone who depends on that final pass to score goals and not a "magician' like RVP and with United wingers on "off" at the moment, something has to come from midfield.
Moyes has to find a way to let the Rooney-Kagawa partnership work just like Messi-Iniesta because Kagawa is the only other creative linchpin they have got and I don't know a manager who would give Nani a 5 yrs new contract only to keep him on bench.
With Chicharito starting, Rooney, Kagawa and Nani playing behind him and including Fellaini and Carrick in midfield, the Reds would barely miss the absence of Robin Van Persie.
