Don't Sell Bale

I understand the appeal for Spurs to sell Bale for the ridiculous sum Real Madrid are offering, but who is a realistic target to replace Bale with at the moment? Money in your pocket doesn't mean much if there isn't someone to buy with the money. Chadli is a decent player and will likely get better with time at Spurs, but he isn't close to the calibre of Bale and Spurs have enough money without selling Bale to buy quality players...

If I were Spurs I personally wouldn't sell Bale, no matter the money. If there's nobody coming in after he's gone to replace him, they've essentially gone backwards team-wise and have only improved financially, which they don't necessarily need because they're pretty well off financially as it is. 

Even if Bale cries about leaving, he signed a new contract last year if I'm not mistaken and Spurs only have to show him the quality signings they're bringing in to prove that they can match his ambition, if indeed that's why he wants to leave to Madrid. Either way, Bale leaving won't help Tottenham's goal of CL football if they can't find a player to replace him with before the deadline.
