David Bentley

David Bentley has announced his retirement. I remember he was being touted as Dennis Bergkamps replacement. Seems foolish now to mention them in the same sentence. He got too big for his boots and couldn't wait patiently for his chance at what was the best side in England at that time. 

This is another example of someone who thought talent alone was enough, what a waste. Just another cocky Englishman to fall through the cracks of the footballing world.

I don't feel sorry for him either, he only has himself to blame.
