Do Manchester United Still Need Sneijder ??

Wesley Sneijder

If the Wesley Sneijder rumours are true, that would be a game changer for United. He had a major injury in 2012 and when the money dried up at Inter, he fell out with the board after refusing to take a pay cut.

As punishment he was left to rot in the reserves for almost 6 months before leaving completely unfit and out of form and as a result, a lot of people have forgotten just what a sublime player he is, certainly one of my favourite non Arsenal players in recent years. His prime was between 2006 and 2011 but he has finally got back his fitness and is showing form again.

At 29 and with a game not based on pace but intelligence, he is one of the very few world class attacking midfielders on the market that can be got for less than £20 mil and could still play at the top level for another 4 years. Moyes made a massive error not taking Strootman but what a coup Sniejder would be, it doesn't fix all their problems but certainly takes the pressure off Rooney and RVP as the sole creators in that side.

Would love to see him in the PL, not on the bench of a money side but actually playing games. A unique talent and a real match winner.
