What Were They Smoking In Chelsea?

After the signing of Samuel Eto'o, Chelsea had to let one of their 3 strikers go to create space for the Cameroonian and at first, they decided to let Demba Ba join Arsenal on loan but the signing of Ozil by Arsenal scared the Blues so they blocked the move.

They then decided to let Romelu Lukaku go out on loan for the second successive season after having a more than successful  loan with West Brom the previous season outscoring all his Chelsea team mates in the Premier League with 17 goals being the 6th highest goal scorer in the process.

He returned to Chelsea with more promise, a young lad at 20 who could still improve in the nearest future and he seemed to be the best striker Chelsea had up until the arrival of Eto'o and his penalty miss against Bayern Munich.

I don't seem to understand what is wrong with Chelsea, always wanting immediate result but they have to know that football is not mathematics.

Lukaku is a powerful striker with great physical presence and wonderful technical ability something that would suit Chelsea perfectly who are playing with a lone striker.

Now, Lukaku has been loaned out to Everton and already has more goals (3 goals in just 2 matches) than all Chelsea strikers together.

I wonder what Mourinho would be thinking now after seeing his loanee performing better than those at his disposal.
