Things Have Changed Mou!
Mourinho |
After losing their first chance to win a trophy to Bayern
Munich in the UEFA Super Cup, Chelsea have gone on to break more unpleasant
records from having the worst start to a premier league season in a decade to
losing their first home group match in the Champions league group stage after
29 matches.
Fingers have been pointed directly to the famous “Special
One” for this misfortune (which is understandable) and he has to understand
that things are not the same the way he left them some years back.
For instance, Chelsea had Manchester United “balls” in their
hands in their past 4 meetings prior to their encounter this season but
Mourinho opted to play “so conservatively” drawing a match that had then become
a formality 3 pointer for them.
Obviously, the last piece of the puzzle for the Chelsea team
was a good striker and in Eto’o they seem to have gotten that but it still
wonders me as to why Mata is being left on the bench preferring Schuvrle and
Willian. Chelsea were known for their mesmerizing trio of Mata, Hazard and
Oscar famously called “Mazarcar” and he seems to be destabilizing the team with
Mata’s exclusion because you don’t bring a player from Russia or Germany to
come and become a starter in the EPL (especially in a top team) ONLY IF he is an Ozilesque signing
(*laughs).
Mourinho had better start getting results before he loses
his popularity among the Chelsea supporters.
Do you think the Special One is making too many changes to the Chelsea squad or would this changes still pay off?
