The Football Pitch Isn't a Swimming Pool
Diving is a problem in the game, but one of the things that needs to be cleared up is that player actions do not necessarily define a club, but how the club reacts to them. What Ashley Young did was embarrassing and he deserved the yellow card without a doubt...
But Liverpool fans calling United, as a club, a bunch of cheaters is just way off the mark. When Suarez dives and admits to diving when his team needs an advantage, only idiots slander Liverpool as a club and try to claim that what Suarez does is at the behest of Liverpool Football Club and that they support him 100%.
On the contrary, Brendan Rodgers came out and slammed Suarez for doing what he did and Moyes said the same thing about Young and said it was unacceptable. So stop trying to say crap about a club just because some players at our respective clubs go out of their way to individually cheat to gain an advantage.
Just because they do it for our clubs, doesn't mean our club condones it or wants them to, and the fans are right to slam their own player for flopping about the floor like an imbecile.
