Nonsense Spending

Manchester City currently sit 4th in the league standings of the EPL winning only one of the last three matches. They lost to Cardiff, won against Hull, a match they could have drawn/lost if not for lost chances from the Hull side then they drew against Stoke.

It is no secret that they need time to gel but that they don't have due to the competitiveness of the league and I believe they have lost or let go of better players and bought in players lower than the class of those sold.

In the past 2 seasons new players like Nigel de Jong, Gareth Barry, Adam Johnson, Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli have left the Etihad while Javi Garcia, Sinclair, Negredo, Jovetic, Maicon, Fernandinho dwell (arguably for the future) & Dimechelis (hope he is not a squivacicsque signing) have been brought in.

The only stand out signings during this time being Aguero, Nasri & Jesus Navas.

My predictions: I do not see them winning the league this season with this team though they would be in the top 4 and give in a fight in the cup competitions
