Were Liverpool Right To Allow Reina Leave??
You could imagine all the experience and knowledge Reina could have passed on to Mignolet. Now all that is gone and Mignolet is alone needing to adapt to being the stopper in a big club on his own.
You could say its a Bad choice by Liverpool but Reina doesn't look like the kind of keeper that can chill on the bench so I guess liverpool had no choice. to let Reina go when they could rotate the 2 players...
Economical reasons behind the decision to let Reina go on loan. I bet they could keep him if they really wanted to. At least for another year while they try to get back into top 4. Though the keeper is not "all that" again but Reina is one of the few who actually knows what it takes to get there. Now they have a manager and players who have never done it before which is not too good for the squad.
Liverpool are turning into a upper table team destined to roam between 6-8th for years to come. I do not see anything done yet that will change that for next season. And now their superstar wants away too. Which they try to play down but it's a huge problem.
