Uruguay or Italy: Who is Worthy of Third Place?

The two defeated semifinalists are both unfortunate to be in this position. Italy took Spain to penalties and were arguably the better team in their match up compared to the last time they met in the UEFA EURO CUP

, the Italians seem to have really improved. 

Its a pity they lost again to the Spaniards. While Uruguay frustrated Brazil throughout their game before conceding a late winner.

Lets also not forget that both teams have plenty of history and have met as recently as 2011 in an International Friendly. Uruguay won that encounter 1-0.

Today is another opportunity for the Italians to redeem themselves. Would the Uruguayans allow that?  8:00pm is the time to find out.
