Andries gets apppointed as Arsenal's Academy Manager
Andries Jonker

Andries Jonker has been appointed as Arsenal's New Academy Manager.

The appointment of Jonker follows the decision by Liam Brady to step down from his role as head of youth development at Arsenal's Academy. Brady will now take up the new role as Club Ambassador.

Jonker has quite a reputation, joined Wolfburg in 2012, was assistant coach to Louis van Gaal at FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich, where he served as interim Head Coach in the 2010/11 season.

Here is what Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger has to say,
"I am very pleased that Andries is joining us," Gunners manager Arsene Wenger told the club website. "He has a big reputation in the game and was a key part of the team which developed the structures which are now producing such strong young players in Holland.
"I look forward to working with him. I would also like to thank Liam for his work which has been outstanding over many years."
